While I have the deepest respect for victims and their families no matter where or who they are, I can't feel that this article touched on some serious issues we all need to look at. No. 1, to have someone try to find your killer do you have to be prominent in your community? And no. 2, if you are prominent, does that mean that the rumors and sordid facts get covered up (whereas if you are not prominent this particular consideration does not get paid to you. Grow up reporters - prominence in the community does not impress all of us..........

Hm. Rumors generally have a kernel of truth. It must be juicy since a newspaper flopped on its back to ensure that we the public are set straight. But, if the words "sordid details" had not been included in the writer's piece, I would not have been interested.

What is sordid and why are the GBI involved? Hhhmmm?

Yeah, I get your point Trish, but there seem to be some things going here that involve a state government agency. Kinda transcends rich vs poor.

Leads one to wonder what the Heidts were doing to put themselves in the position to be killed. Since GBI is involved, I am going with it was not random.
