The media keeps reporting this stuff becasue they are a key component in the success or failure of this scam.

If the public is not whipped into a sufficient state of hysteria they won't line up to consume the latest greatest product on the market: "Vaccine."

If they don't shell out the dollars for the vaccine these poor drug manufactuers are stuck trying to make a profit in a historic economic downturn....like everyone else.

If the drug makers aren't clearing a big profit the big wigs are unable to collect bonuses sufficient to allow them to donate to the political campaigns of their choice.

If the political campaigners do not get sufficient donations they run the risk of not getting elected

If the right people don't get elected, the pre-arragned back-channel "healthcare" legistlation doesn't go very far, and the hysteria marketing machines like the World "Health" Organization could potentially lose their financial lifeline (the American Taxpayer).

And the media without their crisis with another day of boring bank robberies and the occasional kid in a balloon that turned out to be BS as well.........

Yikes? What would you say if they reported each seasonal flu death in Wisconsin? Every year, 700 to 800 people die of the flu in that state. Can't you see what the media is trying to do?

Ironic that you would tell others to get a grip... Nutjobs like you hurt the credibility of those who want to point out REAL cases of corporate-political corruption.

While I will not argue that pharma companies are 100% upstanding corporations, when you deny the importance of vaccines and public health you become a nutjob. Maybe you would like to return to the days of mass pandemics and every family losing children to disease.

I do not want that, and I do not want to get H1N1 flu myself or, worse yet, pass it on to a chronically ill person who then dies. If that is what you want because you have yourself worked up into a tizzy, that's sad.

Joe,

Don't you find it a little too convenient that this Pandemic we've apparently known all about for so long waited until seasonal flu season to rear it ugly head?

Don't you also think it's a little too convenient that without a very expensive and time consuming testing process it's virtually impossible to distinguish what's seasonal flu and what's swine flu?

Isn't is also just a little too convenient that the effects and death rate of this strain of flu are statistically no more serious or deadly to the general population than the influenza viruses that show up each and every year?

Keep drinking the koolaid and don't forget to go get your dose of big pharma. Premium prices apply of course......

Do you know the WHO was given several billion to fight the H1N1 pandemic, and just requested 1.5 bil more to buy vaccines? There is big money in keeping people scared.

Also you are comparing flu vaccines to small pox, whooping cough, and other eradicated diseases. Not even in the same league.

P.S. Those sick people you are worried about infecting are the very people who should be getting vaccinated. Those as well as people in high risk groups (such as health care professionals).

H1N1 is not new. Curious that the most closely related pandemic (that was a REAL pandemic based on 3% of the World Population DYING) saw those with the least-developed immune systems (children) fared best. Now they are telling that same segment of the population to GET the flu shots. People did not die from the FLU, they died from their immune systems going haywire in response to the virus.

Considering the symptoms are generally less severe than that of seasonal flu, this is much ado about nothing. Anyone that doesn't read any deeper into the situation for themselves is too trusting. Take your chances with the vaccine. "Nutjobs" prefer to actually read up on things and try to make informed decisions for themselves and not let the media do the thinking for them. If that constitutes a "nutjob" -guilty as charged.

The thing that they don't want you to know:
the mercury-containing ingredients in vaccines, the government does NOT know what the long-term complications are (if any.) They cite mercury exposure of a different type as to what is acceptable for exposure, but on the government websites they outright ADMIT that they don't know what the long-term complications may be when exposed to the type of mercury in vaccines. It does not occur naturally in our environment unlike other types of mercury we are exposed to every day. Read up folks.
