Ryan is my brother and I can honestly say (not just because he's my brother) that Ryan has always been a good kid and would never intentionally do anything to fatally wound anyone, let alone mentally retarded people. What did was in-excusable and yes he is very apologetic for it. He DID NOT do this on numerous occasions it was a one time thing and if he could go back, he would make a less rash decision. Ryan confessed to what he did because he felt guilty, there was no warrant for his arrest, no manhunt as a matter of fact no one would have known had HE not CONFESSED. This only goes to show that he does have a conscience for what he did and did what he thought would be the honest thing to do by fessing up to his faults.
