I feel for your plight, but those portions of the road are marked as "not county maintained" on maps.
We considered that cost when we bought our property.
We are retired with no regular income, and $2.00 per $1,000 increase would be a tremendous burden on us.
Why should everyone in a small neighborhood now have to pay for a few other's burdens that they willingly took on years ago?
Would anybody pay more property taxes to pay for my neighbor's and my well going dry?
I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but you should have known the circumstances when you got in.
