I had talked with the dealer nearby the Alfa plant just a couple weeks ago. He said Johnnie is planning on buying the Alfa company back from the current owner (he doesn't like how they are running it), and that he may be waiting for them to go into bankruptcy to get a good deal.

We've been looking to buy an Alfa Gold for 5 years. Now, I guess we just sit and wait and see what happens.

IT DOSN'T MATTER THAT THEY ARE OUT OF BUISNESS UNLESS YOUR IS UNDER WARRANTY. THE RV STILL WORKS RIGHT? ANYTHING ON IT CAN BE EITHER REPAIRED OR REPLACED. THE APPLIANCES ARE STANDARD. THE CURTAINS CAN BE PURCHASED. THE CARGO DOORS CAN BE REPLACED. THE SIDING CAN BE REPAIRED. SO WHAT DOES IT MATTER IF THE COMPANY THAT PUT ALL THE PARTS IS NO LONGER AROUND. MINE IS AN 02 AND I LOVE IT.

I have a 2005 40ft Alfa Gold, everything on it has been replaced at least once, 2nd new monitor just the other day, new furnace yesterday, three refrigerators, new ac, new TV, etc. But, I do love the home even if I can't operate all the electronics. I would like to find out what to do about the paint and rubber seals???

Mr. Wilks, we are going to buy an 06 or 07 See Ya and your quote below is the reason...whats it matter if Alfa is out of business, as all the parts and such are basically aftermarket...thank you for making my better half see that, even though it is what I have been saying since they went out of business, LOL! ed

If you own one, have your refrigerator checked by a reputable dealer. If you sold it to some one, please warn them about the refrigerators. The refrigerator can catch on fire. It is a sneaky, devastating fire that is difficult to put out. We ordered and purchased a 2000 Alfa Gold. The recall notification was not till 2007 and the notification process has been a failure.

"I need to tell people about a recent good experience. I recently bought a new Alfa Leisure motorhome thanks to the assistance Bradley Aviation and the Alfateers organization. Brad (Bradley Aviation) orchestrated the deal between the financial institution (who own the leftover inventory of the defunct manufacturer) and I. Done with great aplomb. And the Alfateers (an RV repair facility composed of ex-factory wizards where the inventory is stored) went way out of their way to ensure that I was satisfied. And I am. "
