I knew Ben as a teenager in Hawaii. He was always a kind person. I remember him playing soccer bare footed. There were a handful of us, including my twin living in Waikaloa and would hang out together. I am sorry to hear that this could happen to such a nice guy.

im sure the police are holding back information from the public to help their case but there are some strange things going on here...how can his wife not wake up immediately after the shot gun went off..the noise..the smell..the blast of stuff out of the gun...come on..that dog dont hunt, and someone leaving the door open..that could have happened any time..so who was the last to leave the house? and why leave the wife alive, surly the killer would have thought the gun noise would wake her, if now everyone in the house..something is rotten in denmark...someone knows something,, and not talking..and those hillbilly cops need to get some help...i hope they find this jerk..for alot of peoples sake...dano
