A Nebraska man who stole a painting of the Virgin Mary to finance an abortion for a teen he raped has been convicted of first-degree sexual assault and felony theft.

I'm surprised some Cardinal or Archbishop had not previously thought of selling off that $100k painting - hopefully for more than the $3k this guy got - and using the money to take one of his elementary school boyfriends to Vegas for the weekend.
