Perhaps this family shouldn't bring young children along while playing "let's make a drug deal". To leave a child alone in a car, in an alley in a notoriously bad neighborhood while her "caretakers" engage in illicit activities, calls for more charges, such as neglect and child endangerment. Certainly, I would not have left a child (who should have been in school) in a car, in an alley, in a notoriously bad neighborhood, while pursuing my own illicit desires. If she were "the pride of her family", one would think they would have held her in higher esteem than a dog turd. A seemingly annoyance to drag along. I stayed at home and home schooled my own children, who were the pride of my life.
