It's true ---- HAHAHAHAHA ---- If 1/2 of the school took the WesTest -- 200 X 5.00 each =$2000.---

Just think about the NON-PROFITS who have had their budgets cut ---- and the AA is handing out TEE SHIRTS AND planning a VACATION??????

The County Commission needs to take over every DIME OF INCOME FROM THIS ORGANIZATION!!!! NOW --

How long has it been since the AA has given the REQUIRED BY LAW FINANCIAL REPORT to the Commission -- It is supposed to be given to them every quarter!!! HAS THIS GROUP EVER COMPLIED WITH THIS LAW??????

Tammy, I recently saw a post by two of the AA board offering to open their books to anyone, and after checking with one of them, not one person has done so. So why not verify, before you go on your rants. Ron White said it best "you can't fix stupid".

FYI -- YES -- I WILL have a rant in this week's paper concerning what I consider being a gross "mismanagement of public funds"------

BTW -- Mr. Pipeliner --- If you didn't realize from the election results how very upset the community is with ALL the loose spending in the county -- you better realize it now!!!

Since you think you know the law so well, can you tell me is it ethical for the county clerk's office to be paid by oil and gas companies during non-working hours for the same service they provide during regular hours? They are not providing any other taxpayers any services during these after hours. Are the workers double dipping? Is this illegal? How about talking about something that doesn't suit your own personal agenda or are you in bed with these people? How come you want to bitch about things that aren't really corruption and ignore things that definitely are? Maybe someone should file an ethics complaint or report what is going on to the federal government.

WUVFD raised money to do this project -- NO GOV FUNDS WERE BEING USED BY THEM!!!!

And yes, I AM ATE UP with the whole DCAA MESS WITH GOOD REASON --- THEY are draining our county resources and WILL END UP BANKRUPTING this county in the future!

I certainly do NOT see them holding boot drives or dinners --- They just raid the coffers at the courthouse!!!

Hey -- ADD THE CLERK'S OFFICE HOURS UP !!!!!--- For that matter add up ALL of the County Offices Hours --- 8:30 to 4:00 -- 7 1/2 hours with a half an hour off for lunch -- They ONLY work 35 hrs a week ---- AND IF you read other posts -- THERE have been complaints about this!

Oh -- BTW --- there is NOTHING in the law that says a courthouse id REQUIRED to be open 8 hrs a day -- Just a law that requires overtime or comp time to be given for anything over 40 hrs a week --- And since they only are allowing for research and only one is staying over then I guess they AREN'T charging overtime -- just working the hours they are being paid to work ----

AND -- all a citizen has to do is call in and be put on the list to be able to work after hours -- It's not limites to the O & G companies!

The Doddridge County Courthouse is a MESS with rude people running all over the place and even into the libary . I understand there has to be changes and we need jobs and money but these outsiders do not have any respect for our town and how we have lived for years.I wonder what the fire laws are for so many people in one building ??
