I just read the article in The Herald Record, but am told he is the real deal. I like his statement that he does not owe anyone for his candidacy, much unlike the other canidate, who is owned by the Beamers, Hudsons, Heasters, and a handfull of the others, who wish to take this county back to the stone age.

No, instead, as you can see if you go to the fair his backers are the liberals from BI who have done so very much harm to this community by their spend, spend, spend,-- I don't care what you think I know what is best attitude ------(And isn't Heaster a Democrat?)

You missed the fact that "the other candidate" received a political contribution from the County Republican Executive Committee. Hmmmm, now I wonder, since the REC has not contributed in years and it appears that at least so far, they've not contribute to all the other Republican candidates, was the contribution to "the other candidate" genuine or just a cover-up of the real intentions of a couple of their members. GAME ON!!!

Just spoke with a Republican Executive Member, there has been no contribution to anyone. Must be another Heaster story, at least he is good at one thing.

Now I know how UNbelievable Believable truely is -- 1. Heaster is on thr Dem. Exc. Committee not on the GOP Committee and

It is not hard to read these posts and know the big slams will be coming out of the press boxes.
All this slamming is only the beginning, in my opinion. But, I believe more digging should develop as to whom really pushed the Dem. to run for commission. Inside information may be an eye-opener.
And stating that Heaster is on the DEM. Exc. Committee should really open eyes. Think about it. Is it true?

From what I have seen of his background info ...education, experience,(criminal justice degree, worked at regional jail).....he seemed more a likely candidate for sheriff than commissioner.

He does have a business background, though. An officer, VP, I think, of a business known as Prime Care out of Salem, which is some sort of medical equipment provider.

Didn't know that Perry, of the DCAA board is a buddy of his though.

Yes, I heard the county GOP committee finally gave all the republican candidates money. About time they spend money on the repblican canidates the people voted for . They republican exec. committee sure didn't give Sandora any when he was the people's chosen republian candidate last round. Perhaps they are succumbig to pressure from the state GOP ...dunno.
But then, even though it was an across-the-board donation to each of the republican candidates, if I were some of them, I'd not want anyone to think that it is an endorsment from their party chair, JA. LOL On the contrary...best to disassociate any possible endorsement from him, and respectfully decline it if it were offered ....lest it cause them to lose republican votes. LOL

I don't know to whom from Big Isaac you are referring with this statment ... there is NO ONE from Big Isaac on the County Commission! If you are referring to LS and the DCAA, you have your area wrong ... that is the Miletus/Greenbrier area!

Why don't the young generation who live in west union pull together and get rid of all the people who are in office for anything like judges, county commission, police, etc? These people are not looking out for anyone but themselves and it's time we do something about it. We want jobs, walmart,Wendy's or anything that will help us have better choices and if we let these people to continue running down Doddridge county we will never have a choice!!! If we pull together we can do amazing things for ourselves and our children. Out with anyone over 35 and bring on the young ones who want Doddridge county to finaly be on the map!!!!!!

It would be nice to see some "young generation" work at making the county better. But why limit it to West Union. How about from the entire county?

Bowen is a great choice for CC unlike his opponent who buddies up with the town weasle. Always find him with the likes of Beamer and her crap stirrers. Sorry but you just lost my vote. If you would of kept your nose out of the trap just maybe you would get some votes. Meanwhile he can't even read a bank business only sign and parked there while at court house. Shame shame......

Both candidates for CC seem nice guys. But Bowen does not seem to have as much local knowledge and general experience is not as strong. "united" is pretty much a pipe dream around here. Git er done is what we need and Robinson is the man with the best track record for that.

He CLAIMS to be in charge of a HUGE BUDGET and many, many employees --- I would like to see proof of that also -- Because we ALL know that GOOD MANAGEMENT is not in charge of the number that he is speaking about!

Besides that -- why don't you go to www.doddridgenews.com and watch the videos for yourself --- The meetings and candidate night is there for all to see ---

Since we do not know his positions, why don't you tell us what they are. I did look at the news at DC, as per Tammy B. but heard nothing about any positions he might have.
