Quite possibly. But I venture to say that if that happens, it will cost Bowen more votes than Robinson in the November faceoff. And, I also would predict that a lot of dems will cross over and vote for the republican to help out as they did in Nov. 2010. Many don't like the shenanigans behind a move like that either and many have suspiscions of who is really backing the dem candidate from the JackPack.

Most of the small independents are really Democrats who changed their party to have ssome say in the county. Robinson better be careful with gang he is running with, a lot of people don't like their tactics.

Those who have been known to campaign against Evans certainly didn't advise Evans to make the decisions that he ahs made ---

You forgot to name PF ---- Supposedly he was the one who approached him with JA and LS in the background!

The SECOND DOG may be in a fight for his life --- have heard that he supposedly works someway with the AA and the AA has his FULL SUPPORT!!!!

But I really believe this will be a three way race --- LS and JA will put an indep. in at the last minute --- I may be way off base here but I do not see the 400 or so straight ticket voters breaking over to voting for a dem but they will vote for an I that is recognised by the GOP.

I also am one for fairness and representation, but have not seen anything out of the norm which the organization has done to support their candidate.
But have heard of how the GOP committee won't support all who are running on the GOP ticket.

I almost always vote republican but I am voting for Tim Bowen in the fall. Greg Robinson is all about the DCEMS because he is their tax guy. Little conflict of interest if you ask me. Just saying.

Why don't you go in and ask to see the DCEMS tax papers --- Robinson IS NOT their tax guy --- MARK KIGER USED to VOLUNTEER to do their taxes -- They pay a private agency now --- LOLOL (ANYTHING to stirr)

And it seems to me that considering the state of the county's finances that you would place your vote with someone who has the knowledge to pull us out before we go DOWN!!!!(Not vote on the the DCAA VS the DCEMS --- that is OLD NEWS and what got us into the shape that we are now into!!!)

If you went by that assinine logic, then probably 2/3 of the voters in the county who get their taxes done by this person's business would be accused of conflict of interest for choosing him.. LOL Maybe they recognize that he is someone who understands finances, fiscal responsibility, and can manage the county coffers much better than what we've seen. And I really don't think that Mr. Robinson is "all about the DCEMS" ...obviously you had your head up your butt when he addressed the issue of DCAA vs. DCEMS when questioned about whether he'd get rid of the DCAA if elected. He just wants to see that the county spends our money wisely as MOST ALL OF US do, in a county brinking on bankruptcy. So perhaps if the DCAA were to stand on its own feet and stop pocketing all that transport money they get from doing those out-of-county runs for non-residents, they wouldn't need to be sucking the taxpayer's dry for their grossly inflated payroll costs. Too bad you don't understand that when you spew your clueless intentions of who you will vote for in November.
It isn't about DCAA/DCEMS. It's about fiscal responsibility.

People don't like a "gang" of organized individuals who promote open government, fiscal responsibility, holding elected officials accountable.

OMG...such ruthless "tactics" they have to bestow upon the citizens of the county! I'd say the "tactics" of the "gang" that YOU run with put you up to that post just to try to undermine a group of voters who saw the need for change in our local government, and got behind a candidate that had proven financial management skills because what we currently had in office was destroying the county financially and in a lot of other ways. Shame on those sneaky "gang" members for doing something so sinister as trying to save the county from bankruptcy and the bad leadership we had. LOL

Let's just wait and see what "tactics" the Adams cronies pull this time around to try to undermine the people's choice for republican candidate.

Tactics, we know can be of lower holdings as most have heard about Jack's last two.
Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't he go off the deep edge and jump all over a 4-H leader. NOW, to me, that is bad tactics.
As for Greg Robinson, no one has heard him say or do anything to give me the thoughts he would try to do away with the DCAA. ACCOUNTABILITY is the key issue I do believe.
Our county has already placed so $$ into the DCAA, why would he not want to be utilizing it, but in a more manageable direction.
My worry is as to how fast they will try to give all the assets to the DCAA BOD.

This county is so predictable... To all those who normally vote for anyone who is republican is just insane. Especially this day and age. It's not about what party they are with anymore. Just because a person is republican or democrat doesn't make them the right candidate. Bottom line is you can't trust what someone says during election cause most of the time they have no clue what their responsibilities in office will be. Just because someone has experience in the financial department is not going to mean that they can bring this county out of the hole it is in. Wake up people!!!!!!! Financial responsibilities in only a part of the job of CC. Can they run a county and make smart choices on their own without influence of outside forces? Not only that but they will also be representing our county. We need someone in office that isn't an idiot and has a back bone to stand up for what is right even if that means losing some so called friends.

Given the information I have read regarding Greg Robinson, I feel he will work to do what is necessary to make smart, educated decisions. As well as doing cost analysis prior to be expenditures.

In my opinion, I also believe he will make HIS own decisions, and not from someone else's pushing/

Sounds like some DCAA'ers are scared and trying to make the universe all about them. On the other hand, if I were DCAA I would get my house in order, at the same time I would try to understand that Robinson is his own man and will use his own good financial background in making decisions.
