Big 3 automakers & 15 Billion! Enough is Enough

December 7, 2008

These days I seem to here a lot about the emergency $15 billion aid package to pull Detroit's Big Three automakers from the brink of collapse, not to mention banks, housing and just about every thing else. We are now in a “Recession": A mild downturn in the economy where some friends and neighbors become jobless. It appears that a "Depression": A mild downturn in the economy that has now turned horrible, and now you are jobless along with friends and neighbors could be just a round the corner.
Should millions of American taxpayers be asked to finance assistance for automakers that with bad management, overpaid CEO’s & no concessions from the automakers and their unions get to do the same thing again? I say no! No, enough is enough! Congress should open their eyes and look at this problem a different way. Instead of wasting billions of dollars on failed big companies management lets look at what really runs Americas economy. Small business and millions of taxpayers is what keeps the American economy going.
The solution to the problem is simple, each and every legal citizen receives one million dollars from congress. Every person, 305,824,310 million take this money and pay off all that they owe. Unless we owe more than a million, two million if we are married.
Most Americans will now be dept free. Almost all cars, homes & credit cards will be paid off. A great many of Americans will now have extra money to buy new cars, remodel our homes or to buy new homes.
This will jump start our economy & all people of this great nation will be able to
pay taxes, take trips, buy gas, diesel or start a new business.
Most people will have learned a valuable lesson and perhaps never again borrow
to much money. All Americans under the age of 18 will have their money (including interest) placed in a bank until the age of 18, when they can start their lives.
Will our elected officials open their eyes to what is best for the American people or play the same old politics.

Sincerely,

Michael N Sanders

It feels more like thunderstorms here today than snow storms. The wind is wild and strong!
