The "full news" article makes it sound as though Gov. Barbour is NOT going along with something just because it's "politically correct." Well, good for this one politician anyway! Besides, of all that I've managed to dig up, it's a great big question mark as to whether Forrest was a creator of, president of or just a member of the KKK back when. Also, what appears to be in question is just what was the KKK all about in the mid-1860's, purely against low-life blacks, low-life whites or against degenerates in general? This post is offered as a non-racial opinion stance, let's keep it that way. Thank you.
