Tina was a fabulous woman. Sweet, joyful, and very giving the world has lost someone very special due to the stupidity of a drunk driver. Although, punishment will not bring her back I hope he is punished to the highest extreme. I will pray for both Tina's family and his.

Tina was dear to my heart and it is so senseless that a beautiful woman had to be lost because of some stupid punk wanted to drink and drive. As Jennifer stated I will pray for both Tina and his family. May she rest in peace with her Momma!

Tina's daddy and I appreciate all the prayers from you all. I hope none of you ever have to go thru what we are. What this man has done to our family no one will ever know. We have our good Lord to see us thru, I wonder if he does.I hope while he is sitting in the jail he has alot of time to think about what he's done.

I have read many posts about this wreck not only from here but other online papers and other sites and too many people tend to completely trash the young man who was driving the pickup. I personally know Colton and what he did was inexcusable and selfish. He is filled with sadness and we know that he is sorry as he never intended to cause harm to this woman and her family and friends. Please do not take this the wrong way but Colton made a mistake and he does deserve to be punished but for people to slam him and say he deserves the highest extreme which is quite high for this particular charge or a few other posts on other sites say he does not deserve to live etc... that is not fair nor is it anyones place to judge him. He is sitting in jail and every day from now until he is no longer on this earth, he has to live with knowing that he took a life away from you people, he took someones mother somones sister someones good friend....He has to live with that and believe me there is no one besides her family that feels as terrible about this tragic event. It is a shame that people judge a person by one horrible mistake...I feel dearly for the family and hope that everyone finds a way to deal and cope with the sadness and loss in their lives. I also feel for Colton who possibly will never live or have a normal life because of his poor judgement. This is a tragic accident that will forever change the lives of probably everyone involved who was friends or family of either person involved. I just wanted my opion out there not to condone his behavior but to simply give my two cents and let people know that Colton is not deserving of the trash talk or slams that have been written about him. He will be punished and he will have to live with this forever and that to me personally, just living with the grief and shame alone has to be a personal prison itself. I do believe in forgiveness and as well as justice, but sometimes people get way too judgemental in situations and automatically trash someone without having ever known anything about them, only what they may feel or read about one particular incident....

I agree with "Josh" so i'll make this short. This is a tragic situation and while I pray for both families, I personally know Colton and know that he is a good person with a good heart. I don't believe that he deserves the slander which he's receiving but understand the pain many people are feeling with the loss they've experienced. I lost my mother at a young age due to the poor decision someone else made. I no longer try to make sense of it all and why it has happened and have to trust in God to get through it. I don't wish "the extreme" punishment on the man who made the poor decision that took my mother from me. He is living with it every day, as will Colton. My prayers go out to both families.

To Josh and Pamela,

Really! This guy if such a good man. How about the fact he was arrested for breaking into a mans house and robbing it or how about his possession of control substances. He went to jail. Before you get on here and start feeling sorry for this piece of crap, maybe you should realize that criminal records are public record. This guy was far from a good kid or even a good citizen. How about you take a look at his facebook, myspace or you tube. All his pictures of being drunk and partying. So forgive me if I don't give a dang on how he will have to live with what he did. It should haunt him everyday of his life, because he gets to live. Tina's son will grow up with out his mother. He does deserve to be punished to the fulliest extent of the law and then some. Your comments are insulting to the memory of Tina and her family. You write on and on that "Colton has to live"....What a luxury Colton has.
