As a Christian, a Conservative and a Republican, and an ignorant jackass...
Non jackass Americans expect a good deal more from their government than police and fire protection, you dumb whacko.
When you have sales taxes everyone from rich to poor, homeowners to renters all have skin in the game and are taxed the same. I would suggest that name calling because you disagree with someone else's opinion makes you appear ignorant.

Poor analogy... "We were kicked out of a Methodist church" - you weren't fined, imprisoned or lost your property for not "tithing". And you had a CHOICE of joining another church.
Repeat: voluntary/charity good, force bad.
You have a choice of moving to another country also.

Theoretically yes - practically no. Although many wealthy individuals have - Jim Rodgers, Doug Casey, etc.

The US Constitution supposedly solved a lot of issues by having separate states - don't like the taxes or laws of one state move to another. Unfortunately, the feds have mostly taken over the states with a federal income tax, all the unconstitutional federal agencies (EPA,DOE,NHTSA, ad infinitum), and control of the state national guards.

Don't see the Supreme Court ruling all the stuff unconstitutional, which means you're full of yourself.

Since you feel free to speculate on stuff you're not qualified on, let me do the same. If you have a salaried job, all your taxes are generally factored in by the market when your salary is set. If all these taxes could magically disappear (your erotic dream), then companies would drop the salaries to match. Maybe not yours or mine, but all new hires, you betcha. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

This is what you get, Ohio.
What a joke is this system of taxing the property owners to the point that they move out of the state of Ohio.
School districts should be ashamed of yourselves.
Just simply, disgusting.
Ohio has pretty low property taxes.

Specifics? Compared to what other states?

Ohio property taxes are much higher than Florida, and Florida doesn't have an income tax. And in Ohio I didn't get so much as a street light or sidewalks for the rip-off taxes, to pay for among other things the police-state like Ohio State Highway Patrol - another "taxing agency".

Short version: Ohio, and its taxes, police and weather, sucks.

Florida is at the bottom in every measure of education. May be cheap to live there, but you would really do damage to your children's future by sending them to school there.

The perfect socialist response - it's about the CHILDREN - not about their taxpayer-funded-by-force pay check.

Socialism doesn't work and neither do socialists. All government schools need to go away, replaced by the free market and competition, eliminating the need for this dicussion.
