12-year-old convicted in Masonic fire
A 12-year-old boy was convicted of felony arson Wednesday in connection with a fire that destroyed the Masonic Family Center in Crescent City on June 29.

A little harsh I think. I'm sure he didn't know that it was going to be that big of a fire. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying he was right but 6yrs that is to much!

I would have to agree, only because Warren Houser burned down somebody's house a few years ago and got a few days in jail,$200 restitution fine and a misdemeanor and jailed, and he was andult and did it on purpose.
