This is my sister who u are talking about. And she wasn't getting hydros..she was getting Xanax for her anxiety..she didn't sell them..it wasn't her fault that she was sent to different doctors and they prescribed them to her..it's not like she could make them write her a script..and another thing ten care don't pay for them she paid for them out her own pocket!

I'm sorry but as for me being in the medical field I find that Tenncare does pay for generic Xanax . Sometimes there may b a $3 copay but most Tenncare patients is usually free.

At most even without insurance it shouldn't be over $17.00. If you have BC/BS Tenncare you may be right. They change their policies all the time. Are you getting the generic brand? I know they won't pay for name brand.

i do not know the lady who this story is about nor do i care but I KNOW alprazolam is only covered by TENNCARE if the patient is 18 and under. there is NEVER a $3.00 copay for it, the only time you will see the $3.00 copay is for brands.

For your information if the doctor stopped giving them to her then that wouldn't have been doctor shopping..more than one doctor prescribed them that's why they called it doctor shopping..and I'm her sister and I know my sister has problems but it's none of yours or anyone else's business.

TennCare does not pay for xanax and medicare does not either so get it right. I do not receive TennCare but my mom does. She makes less than $700.00 a month and has been on xanax for twenty years and no govenment insurance pays for xanax period so get your stories strait. Perionpointblank.com

First off let me inform u of something tenncare does not pay for xanax they will cover what some ppl refer to as busbars but only for ppl under 18 xanax are not cover for anyone of any age..so yes this girl did have to pay for them out of her own pocket the only reason they yell tenncare fraud is due to her insurance covered her medical care not the prescription itself so my advice to u would be drop outta ur so called medical field u claim ur in cuz u have got 0 knowledge
