All of Nashville's judges sgould be investigated for ethics violations. Come to think of it, so should the DA and it's staff.

I really think judges should know they are being 'watched". I think sometimes they let the power go to their head and they get to the point where some actually start acting as if they are above the law and they have no one they have to answer to.

Judges are to be impartial, not play favoritism, know the law and be diligent and fair. Apparently this is not the way it works in Tennessee? It is a shame for the people of Tennessee to have to put up with this. Theonly way to change is to vote sitting judges out when they come up for reelection.

There should be a process where they can be ousted when they displease the people they serve. I think they forget who ultimately pays their salaries; the taxpayer.

They should be watched and wrongdoing reported to the judicial council. Just call up the State Bar or check the Consumer Protection website and then send a complaint to the judicial council. Problem is they don't like to investigate their own too much.

It's no secret that at least a couple of Dav. Co. judges make rulings in divorce/custody cases that are not based in law, but based on their own biases and whims. Every atty. that I talked to about a divorce in Davidson County told me that no matter how good my case was, it was a crapshoot. Fortunately, she moved to Williamson County and as soon as 6 mos. were up, I filed down there.
