Davidson County sheriff may drop deportation program
Davidson County Sheriff Daron Hall is balking at renewing his department's participation in a program that lets local authorities enforce federal immigration laws because new rules could keep secret basic information about who's being detained.

With Obama talking about how "open" on information *his* administration would be, it seems he is more and more secretive. He is nothing but a liar.
And, now we all know why that anti-Sheriff Joe group is gloating and claiming police departments are thinking about not continuing with the 287g program. They made it sound like it was because the police departments were suddenly "coming to their senses" when, in fact, it's due to new rules started by Obama the anti-American moron.
We have Federal Statutes and they say illegally entering this country is a misdemeanor. If I go out and commit a misdemeanor, they won't be overlooking me. They'll arrest me and I'll have a record and have to go through court, etc. Why all the special treatment for foreigners?
