The man is an idiot. All he has to do is post a sign outside his establishment that says - no firearms allowed! It is his right to do that - and I support his right. Why does he insist on depriving me of MY new right at other establisments that may allow it?

Because allowing weapons in establishments that serve alcohol is just plain stupid, that's why.

You're a clueless idiot. Weapons have been allowed in bars & restaurants in several states for years, yet there's NEVER been in incident.

How come it's NEVER happened in ANY state that currently allows guns in restaurants and bars?

What the clueless fools don't understand is that illegal, unlicensed guns are ALREADY in restaurants. The criminals don't care about the law. That person next to you could easily be carrying a weapon.

You retards don't have a clue what you're talking about. A person with a carry permit is the LAST person who'll be involved in any kind of trouble. These people have taken training courses, have been fingerprinted, their background has been checked and their weapon is on file. These are the GOOD people.

You pathetic losers also don't know that the (permitted, registered, trained) people carrying weapons WON'T BE ALLOWED TO DRINK, and since they're law-abiding people, they won't. It's the law BREAKER that you need to worry about - the person who's ALREADY in the bars & restaurants, and who will CONTINUE to go into bars & restaurnts packing heat regardless of the sign in the window.

I have a gun permit and I went to downtown Nashville with my family for dinner. I had to leave my handgun in my truck because it had a, "no guns allowed" sign on the front door of the restaurant. After we left the restaurant, a black guy stuck a gun in my face and threatened to kill my five year old if I, "Didn't hurry up!" He laughed about the restaurant not allowing guns and he knew no one coming out of that restaurant had one. I will never go to downtown Nashville again because the, "no handgun" sign on the doors encourages criminals to rob you. I did call the owner of the restaurant and told him about the incident that occurred. He said he wasn't changing his policy even if everyone got robbed in or after they left. He was a real belligerent @hole and this pissed me off! This happened on July 19, 2009.

It's too bad that happened to you. It's the stupid bar owners and their stupid patrons who made that happen.

These idiots don't even know that the bad guys have been illegally carrying weapons into bars & restaurants forever. The bad guys don't care about signs and they don't care about laws.

Prove it. Provide statistics. Cite your sources.

You can't. You won't even try.

The FACT is that 42 states allow permitted carry in bars & restaurants. There have been no problems.

Take your crybaby act somewhere else. You'be been exposed as a liar.
