Considering that the thp are little more than a pack of poorly educated rednecks they'll easily follow all orders to enact a police state; they will and are, violating the oaths they took to protect and defend the constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic.

They have no ability to discern that the fascists they serve are destroying the futures of their own children.

The amerikan people are little more than a cowering pack of cowards. Enacting a fascist state will be an easy prospect with such a terrified populace.

Your first sentence says it all doesn't it?? Perhaps "y'all" should become informed about the topic before "y'all" make comments.

All social and political movements have a fringe element that takes focus off the real issues at hand and become low hanging fruit for the opposition to use as examples of the misguided agenda of the movement. You, my friend, are low hanging fruit.

Show me where in the constitution it quarantees that anyone can take over a public space at any time and without any restrictions.

You cant, because it doesnt exist. But nice try. Now run along, Im sure your mother misses having you camped out in the basement for life.

There is no law restricting them from being there. In an effort to remove them, the governor placed a curfew on the Plaza. They were arrested based on this curfew but the night court magistrate then released them as he could "find no authority anywhere for anyone to authorize a curfew anywhere on Legislative Plaza."
PS - you seem to be really hung up on the basement issue Have you just recently moved out on your own and are still really excited about it?? Assuming that is the case, congrats to you!

The ninth ammendment covers all rights not enumerated in the U.S. Constitution.

The U.S./state nd other governments in the U.S. are supposed to abide by the U.S. Constitution. Feck the governments powerS. THEIR POWERS DO NOT NEGATE, DISOLVE, INUNDATE, REMOVE, OVER RIDE, ETC. The rights of U.S. CITIZENS. We as taxpayers pay their salaries. They DO NOT PAY US. We ARE THEIR BOSSES; NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. THEY GET PAID TO DO WHAT ALL CITIZENS, Not just "special" or politically protected citizens demand they do.

There are any number of court cases upholding the right of the government to require permits for most assemblies. You might want to study a little harder and realize the complexity of the constitution and subsequent decisions made in an attempt to interpret it and apply it.
Its not my vault you and your little hippy friends are too stoned or just too stupid to understand the complexity of either the law or history.
Or to stupid or lazy or both to apply for the requisite permit.

Well, now there is a well thought out argument. "we pay them - so they have to do as we please." Gosh - why dont we just put matters of complex legal question up for vote to the masses and get rid of the supreme court?
It is obvious why you fools cannot elucidate an agenda - or for that matter, even make more than a fools attempt at outlining an intelligent discourse.

Actually - they do hand out jobs for those who having achieved the proper education and who demonstrate the necessary skills.

If, on the other hand, you spent your college years taking 6 years to get a degree in english, well then have fun working as a night manager at Blockbusters.
