Bebko-Jones, staff member charged in forgery case

Former state Rep. Linda Bebko-Jones and a member of her legislative staff were charged today with forging nominating petitions and submitting fraudulent forms to the secretary of state for Pennsylvania in 2006.

WJET TV24 reported the Grand Jury said she filled out the false petitions in her Capitol Office on 6 March and filed them on 7 March with the Dept. Of State, Bureau Of Elections, in Harrisburg, Dauphin Co. The alleged crime was committed in Dauphin rather than Erie County. Thus the trial is to be there rather than Erie.

Why are they making such a big fuss about what Ms Bebco-Jones is being charged with? The lieutenant Liebel who got busted stealing drugs from the evidence room, is being sent on a vacation to Florida for awhile....... What is wrong with that picture?

OK..hear me out.. Listen Linda is a good person! She would help anybody if she could and would tell you if she couldnt. Yes she is to blame for signing her name to approve the petitions that holds her responsible, but Mary Fiolek is the idiot behind this, and Linda's kid was no help. Why she needed to do this is beyond me. She had more than enough signatures that were legit. Thats what is mind bogling here. The only other mistake she made in her 14 years was getting her DRUNK kid a job with the ATTY Generals office. All he does is ride around and BRAG how untouchable he is.. he is nothing but a leech.. Sorry LBJ.. Hope all works out for you.. Your a good person..

Linda is doing the honorable thing by taking the heat with her criminal employee. It looks like Fiolek was the one doing the deed. As for her son essentially testifying against her, he got immunity for it, which in essence is a mother protecting her son. I believe Fiolek is the evil doer here, and everyone else got caught in her doo-doo.

For all the haters here there are 60,000 persons who love LBJ. She made a mistake, we all have sometime in our lives. You peeps who call her names are ignorant to the fact that we have all made mistakes in your life. She served this state with dignity for 14 YEARS. Get a grip haters, look within before you hate others. She still would have been elected. The petition was a mere formality on her way to yet another term. No one can deny the fact that she was one of the best reps the 1st district has ever had. That means something. Unless you have never done anything wrong, you should STFU.
