I am still trying to figure out HOW he is able to practice law.

What does an attorney have to do to be dis-barred in this state?

He is a joke and his lawsuit is a joke. People bought too much house and gambled and now they get legal representation because they were greedy and stupid.

This guy is a joke.

As long as he can practice law, I appreciate that he is helping people who need help. Mortgage companies and banks have to follow the law and proper procedures when foreclosing on someone's house.

If people dont/cant pay, of course, take the house back but do it legally!!

Thanks Marc Dann and other attorneys helping people. When any person has done WRONG (and we all have, most havent been caught yet) it is great to turn wrong doing into something GOOD (anytime).

While I can't figure out for the life of me why he's still able to practice law, he's right on the money about Lerner, Sampson & Rothfuss.

It's about time someone called them on their bullsh@!

And while they're at it, someone needs to look into what's going on down at FCFMP (are they in cahoots with Lerner, Sampson & Rothfuss???)

Your ignorance of the issue with improper foreclosure (or the deliberate taunting of those caught in a trap) is deplorable. In many of these cases, it appears that LSR is forging note transfers in order to foreclose on behalf of their clients. In addition, the Common Pleas courts, especially those in Delaware, have aligned themselves with the perps and have denied homeowners basic rights and protections against these predator firms and mortgage backed securities.

It is not as simple as you try to make it out to be. The Dann lawsuit has finally brought to the forefront the abuse that LSR has been foisting on Ohio citizens, with the full endorsements of the good 'old boys network of podunk judges.

There has also been a Civil Suit filed in Kentucky against LSR over similar issues, but this one is alleging that LSR is violating the RICO statutes.

Read up on the issues...they are much more complicated that you are making them out to be. In many cases, folks are paying, but having their homes taken by banks who do not even posess the notes or the mortgages, but whose attorneys are manipulating the courts to unjustly enrich themselves.

Did you realize that the law firm, Lerner Sampson and Rothfuss, which is a foreclosure mill from Cincinnati, apparently also has a document processing arm called LSR, LLC., which apparently is processing "note transfers?" Talk about having your cake and eating it too! In at least one case I'm aware of, they presented a document as "evidence" of note ownership that was signed by a bank employee who had not worked at that bank for 16 months prior to the supposed date of the note transfer!

I wonder where that was signed, and by whom? Clearly, the document was forged, since the person who supposedly signed it was not ever working for the bank at that time.

Dann should be in jail for taking payoffs to target(prosecute) non-union companys. Of course that's one of the major problems with Ohio!

Seems to me that class action status benefits the trial attorneys as compared to the individual home owner. Make no mistake, hearing and reading about the ineptness of banks and lenders is inexcuseable.
I have no love for banks or attornies. Both are neccesary evils we must deal with. Thank goodness there are good ones of both out there. The problem is they are hard to find and if you get a bad one first, your screwed

Common Sense? you are a morons. Please do some research into the foreclosure mess or should I say fraud perpetuated on mainly middle class Americans. First you lose your job because wall Street Banks tanked the economy, then you lose your job and get behind on your payments. Now you call your bank and ask for help and understanding and a possible refinance. The bank tells you have to stop paying for a period of time to get into the program. Then after you stop paying the comes after your house. They are crooks and should be doing time. Now you have lost your home and the bank is making money off your trusting soul while they are the ones that created the mess. You morons always want to blame the victims. Many of these people were fine until both spouses lost their jobs. They could even be you. I look these people in the eyes every day. You on the other hand sit in your gated communities and say let them "eat cake". One day they may come after your home you idiots. Who is going to stop them. Think before you open you big mouths and let the world know that the rest of your head is vapid and empty of anything including compassion.

Well, Fantasyland...er....um... "the real world," anybody who would stop paying their mortgages on advice of the mortgage holder and doesn't escrow the money is not firing on all cylinders. No victim talk, please. "Wall Street Banks" didn't tank the economy. At least not by themselves. You can look to the Fed- yes your beloved Federal Reserve System (which is not federal and has no reserves save the mortgaged labor of the American citizenry) is the culprit in the mortgage crisis. Them and, of course, Congress which has inserted themselves into the mortgage process, forcing lenders into making loans they have no hope of EVER being paid back for. Many of these are your so-called "victims." So who pays the price? Those of us who work and slave to continue to pay our mortgages while your"victims" think they should get a "house payment vacation." Since I'm supposed to take up the slack on this, I say pay your mortgage or get out of the house and pay your own bills.

"The Real world"?????

YOU are a moron and so are the people who bought too much house, never saved a dime, used their house as an ATM, SAID they did not understand their mortgages (lie) but went on more vacations than me and have the nerve to act like victims and call that the "American Dream". You have the liberal media on your side but there are many people who get the scam. A bank/banker CANNOT do anything unless the STUPID consumer signs off so shut up.
And oh, his one is good you are looking for understanding from a bank? You have a disease called DELUSION. Suck it up and quit thinking anyone with a brain is rich, lives in a gated community, or has no compassion.

Next time live under your means and save your money in case you are laid off you can effectively handle it oh, I am talking to a wall......

YOU are wrong. Mike was right it is simple. IF you gamble and you loose YOU pay not ALL your neighbors. You are flat out wrong and so is the AG.

The government is to blame for this with the CRA forcing banks to loan to people who could NOT afford houses based on DIVERSITY.

Now we ALL suffer simple you fool.

Banks planned ahead and had insurance expecting the collapse, knowingly allowed many who could not afford homes into complex interest scams. Then took a government handout, and bought out little banks who could not compete with the tactics played out in the scam. Homeowners are now in situations owing more than their house is worth because of a few bankers actions leading to the everyone in the housing market to be affected. Foreclosures surround some of my homes, and crime has increased. I have lost renters due to these issues and cannot get the rents once available. I was impacted significantly across the board due their actions. Rents cannot be sustained in some of the areas, but if I reduced my payments are not. I may survive but feel for all the people who have lost their only home. My renters will suffer accordingly because this is where my money has always been invested.
Tarp+Insurance+zero%, the banks then deny help with loan mods, refi's, and the like. Hopefully some smart people are watching and taking note and can help can the system improve for future home-buyers.
This game has increased taxes but reduced property values, created fraud and increased crime in the street. I have lived through most of it and keep working long hours and contributing as much as I can.
My solution would be to adjust all mortgages to the first foreclosure on the street and let the banks take the hit. The banks have not thought this through and it is really crime of fraud which has occurred against a world market. Hold them accountable and make them suffer as so many people in our cities have been put on the streets.

Mad as hell.

Pray for the families who have lost their homes, have tried to survive this economic downturn housing up with family members. We all have to work our way out of this, it should not be this hard on everyone. Over the past few years we have come full circle where the banks will soon be impacted by everyone's ability to cover their damage.
Get them DANNO. Sexual scandal aside it is about time someone brings this to the people's court. I mess up I pay, should be the same for them.
