She hit the kid and left him to die. Then she tried to hide the evidence.
That is not the behavior of a truly remorseful person.
The sad irony is that the boy's mother taught driver safety classes for the elderly.
Helen needs to do community service for the rest of her days, comforting the families of the needlessly deceased.
That might make it better.....
