After he is proved guilty of this abuse of corpse charge in Oregon, does he then come back to California to face murder charges? Is this because they don't know where the murder was committed? Does anyone know cause of death yet? I haven't heard. I guess abuse-of-corpse as a charge means they know Dickson was dead before he dropped her off the cliff or bridge. This whole thing is so sick.

Observer, you'll appreciate due process if you are ever accused of a crime. Our system my be imperfect, but surely you don't advocate eliminating due process, do you? Once he's convicted, then it's time for you to advocate capital punishment to save taxpayers money. But when you say that even before they've made a case just sounds ridiculous.

The reason they have to be careful is because of double-jeopardy.

My comment above seems weird and out of place now, but it's because I was responding to an offensive post from someone called "Observer" that's now been removed.

Hooray for the TS in eliminating offensive posts!!!! It is too bad there are people who insist on making it necessary to keep the staff busy with such things.
