Letters to the Editor

I would like to thank Senator Tom Garrett, Jr. and Susan Lascolette, his legislative assistant, for their time and support on my behalf this fall. They were instrumental in the conclusion of an eight-month discussion with a state agency.

Even with a full time position as a Louisa County Assistant Commonwealth Attorney, Senator Garrett carved out hours to go to bat for me in Richmond. While Ms. Lascolette took the time to push through the mire and keep Mr. Garrett informed. I am grateful for their help.

Senator Garrett has taken to heart his pledge to serve Virginia constituents. He is clear thinking, direct, and well spoken with an economy of words. He gives due diligence to each matter before him and sees it to conclusion. We are fortunate to have such an able man represent us in the State Senate and very lucky to have this role model in the public eye.
