You're right, Gambling is ruining this great land, in more ways than one.
Your letter makes very good and valid points and I agree with you. Now lets look at another form of gambling:
People gambled when they stayed home instead of going out to vote against Ed Rendell and then again for B.O., what a gambling loss that turned out to be.

... and the path begins with free bus trips to Atlantic City and ends with the bright lights of Hollywood Casino in Grantville, PA.

Republicans love gambling, they doubled-down on Bush and the jackpot was huge for the Democrat's.

Once again you're incorrect, the turn out for the Obama election was one of the best in this countries history. Try again loser.

Once again?? When was the first time? There wasn't a first time, that was my first post. Read it again and try to understand.(It's in plain English with simple words).
I never said that there wasn't a good turnout for that election. What I said is that the people who stayed home rather than go to the polls and vote gambled. Are you saying that everyone who was eligible to vote did?
If that's what you're saying then you're the one who is incorrect. Are you saying that I implied that everyone stayed home? If that's your implication then you're incorrect. Are you saying that those who didn't vote weren't gambling by letting other people make the decision for them? If so, you're incorrect.
No matter how you look at it, you're incorrect.
If you're practicing to be a politician you're doing it wrong. When you twist someones words and meaning you have to make it sound a lot more convincing. A good place to start is by saying something that's actually relevant to what you're quoting. Then you should follow it up with something close to a fact to make it sound believable at least to the lesser educated and those who aren't really paying attention, and build the deception from there. As for the name calling, that's very unbecoming of anyone, even you. I've been called worse by more credible people than you and it doesn't bother me a bit, and when someone makes a feeble attempt to make me look like a fool I won't hesitate to state a few facts and speak the truth to show who the fool really is. If you're inclined to gamble you can bet on that.(And before you make another attempt to insult me....., Never mind, I'll wait, I think I know where you'll try to go next, I'm ready, have at it).

No need to worry once every man, woman and child in these United States of America wins a million dollars playing the lottery, and then patriotically donates their respective windfalls to the government; let's do the arithmatic: 300,000,000 X $1,000,000 =$300,000,000,000,000!!!

We'll have nothing to worry about except maybe the spending habits of those "Dimocrats" and their drinking partners, the Rip-publikins.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Scorpio

Let the past stay in the past for now. Even though you may have fond memories of intense experiences, the Virgo Moon sees to it that you have virtually no desire to go there again just yet. This is your opportunity to show others what you can do in a more civilised environment. Don't try to shout down someone who is rude enough to interrupt. As unlikely as it may seem, the softest voice has the biggest chance of being heard today.
