I've felt all along from the begining that michael Hutchinson is innocent. I feel that he is covering for someone else. He should be given a fair chance to proove his innocence after all he was only given one weeks time with only one witness, What's up with that? How can you proove yourself innocent when not given the chance. 26 witnesses for the defense but only one is called??????

I'm wondering why he dragged Ms. Perry through the MUD with clearly transparent lies... to cover for someone else? I don't care WHO, I would never, but NEVER, cover for a murderer.
If only one witness was called out of 26, well, why was that?
Witch hunt? That was the lonnnnnnnngest 'witch hunt' I've ever heard of.
I do not know enough about the case. I was not on the Jury (darn it.) I DO know what I read of his ridiculous and disgraceful "explanation" in the news. That alone puts him where he belongs.

No one will ever know for sure "The whole truth and nothing but the truth"! No one will ever know if Michael is really guilty. But as of 8/2/07-it really won't matter will it? He was found guilty-he's being sentenced then. The Perry's and Hutchinson's are suffering. I never met Crystal, but ive been told so many great things about her,she was wonderful. Michael regaurdless of the animal everyone thinks he is- He is really a sweet, caring person. Its so hard to beleive he may have done such a horrible thing. But-according to the courts and evidence,he just might have. He WAS convicted. It will forever be shocking to all involved, and very sad. Crystal is sadly missed by many.Michael is and will be too.

why didn't Michael take the stand himself and tell his story to the jury?

Michael did take the stand and tell his story. No one believed anything he said. The whole story was confusing, and kinda twisted.but It may have really happened the way he said. No one will ever know for sure, because he's sticking to his story.

Mike used to be a nice guy. Oddly enough he started his downhill slope anout 13 years ago. Looking back it was probably because he could not handled what he had done. Also, does anyone know WHY the state took his DNA? He dragged a kid into the woods by GUNPOINT because he said that the kid stole Mikes FRIENDS pot plants. The kid really thought it was it and Mike was going to put a bullet in his head. Does not sound sweet and caring to me. As far as his EX wife standing behind through all this.. Does anyone WANT to admit they bore two children with a cold blooded murderer? Mike was always a good liar but, it all caught up to him. I don'y believe Brad killed Crystal but, I do believe he covered it up for Mike for many years...

Who says nice guys DONT finish last?
Sounds like an anger management problem to me.
Those poor kids. I think he should have to make license plates for LIFE and forward the payment, pitiful as it may be, to the shrink who will have to counsel those poor kids.

Been thinking about this.... let us just leave the INNOCENT VICTIMS (at least those who are alive who have the potential to read these message boards!) out of this discussion.

I can see that Jeremy is a good cause as well...however, one should not discriminate against another. Benjamin went through loss of life and is lucky by the grace of God to be alive. He still has another operation to go through. Think about what you are doing? You have no evidence that Ben did anything the evening that it was in the paper. I know for a fact that the guy did not even report it until 2 days later and he picked Ben out of a picture lineup of 8 men....Ben was the only one at the place...What does that tell anyone.

"Mike is covering up for somebody else and its another bridgton man. A drug addict asshole that should be in jail, I dont know why he is covering up for this man (I will not mention his name) but i believe its because he fears the life of his children and ex wife if he does come clean."

KMNCJD--it sounds as if you know something (or at least suspect it). If it is of substance and you are as close to Michael as you say you are, why haven't you come forward with the information???

Well, the DNA matched Mikes DNA. Thats a pretty strong piece of evidence right there. I've also known Mike most of his life and something here doesn't seem to add up. He was a little 'off' as a kid, but I wouldn't consider him the murdering type, or he would've killed that kid in the woods as well.
Maybe Father and Son have very similar DNA patterns, I'm no expert but would YOU take the fall for your Dad?...Just a question

If you could identify a MURDERER by looking at them nobody would ever be murdered !This is an old thread but I thought I would remind everyone that Michael Hutchinson is right where he belongs and he is going to stay right there until he meets his maker whoever that is !!!
