Yahoo,
Taking out the negative portions of your comment,
Why wouldn't you drop the kids off to watch a movie?
And why would new theater be a hole? Is it built into the ground to save utilities? That would be pretty cleaver.
What is your real problem with a new threater in this location?

Keep bringing those businesses out this way. I'm all for it! I am getting to where I hate driving all the way through Jonesboro.

If the property values weren't already less, due to the fairgrounds location, then this should certainly finish 'em off! I'd be willing to bet, the people that moved out there to 'get away' never thought things would go like this, but then, maybe they are about to make a killing. LOL

Jonesboro should think about adding 16 cops instead of screens. Starting to outgrow itself. Wouldn't hurt to report the crime on channel 8 to aware the public. Better get a grip on it now.
