Many schools across the country were been built on top of closed dumps (landfills) containing cancer-causing chemicals. Has there been historical research of Robert Gray Elementary School to determine if the property was formerly a dumpsite?

Are residents still looking for the cause of the cancers?

While money for cancer research is important, not enough money or attention is focused on finding and correcting the environmental causes of cancer. Prevention is key.

Finding out if there is an environmental cause of the cancers is as important as finding a cure. A 100-year chain of title of Robert Gray Elementary School property and research of old maps will provide information as to whether the land was previously used as a dumpsite.
