Police chief: Woodland needs new station now | Oct. 13,
The Woodland police station, built in the early 1970s, has outlived its life span, and Woodland voters are being asked to authorize the city to impose an additional sales and use tax of 0.1 percent to build a new one.

Woodland could use a new police force while they are at it. And an entire new city staff. Actually, there are a few fine people employed by our city. But there seem to be quite a few that don't care and the residents have never even seen who these people are. My tax dollars? I'd like to say I am happy with where they go. However, I have to admit that - as a tax payer - I would like an answer rather than a sour look and no response when I ask a question of one particular long-term police officer. Very rude.
