Pit bull kills two pet goats near Longview

I am a native to Longview and currently living in N.M. I am sad to see that these poor dogs were owned by an irresponsible owner. I am an owner of six American Pit Bull Terriers and have never had one problem with them. This is the problem we are having today and why everywhere is trying to ban them. It is not the dogs fault they were raised the way they were. The owner should be punished since it is their fault. My dogs live with three cats and numerous chickens and peafowl and have never tried to harm them. This disturbs me to see stories like these and the dogs will surely be to blame since they are "pitbulls"

Yes, it's always the terrible owners. It's never the breed that for nearly a hundred years was cross-bred to bring out one trait... to kill with efficiency. How can people who own pit bulls be so unread about their breed of choice? It's in every strand of DNA in their whole body to kill! All it takes is a small prey sound... a squeal from a small animal or child and this gene is triggered. The one true thing that can be said about pit bulls is THEY ARE GOOD UNTIL THEY AREN'T. They may not bite as often as a cocker spaniel, but when they do something is in danger of dying.

My wife and I were mauled by a neighbor's pit bulls 3 days before "BBrown the Microbiologist" posted his absurd remarks. Medical bills have exceeded $70,000. Of course, the owner has not come around with a dime.
The dogs are dead, thank goodness. So count me as one of those who is prejudiced against pit bulls!

why does everyone blame the pit. It is all in how they are raised. I have an American Pit and he is a total sweetheart and would not hurt a fly. I have quite a few younger cousins that come over all the time and all he wants to do is lick them all over. Little kids came over trick or treating and all he wanted to do was lick them. Stop blaming tha dog for the medical bills he caused you. You should be going after the shitty parents not the dog. He was obviously raised by horrible people. Jurnem you are very horrible people and deserve to go to hell for killing the dog. You ass holes and I hope you live with killing an animal for the rest of your life.
