Dennis enters race for state board of ed

I work with David Dennis at North High School and am completely baffled that he calls himself a Republican. He's against anything but Darwinism in the classroom, for the usd259 bond issue, and describes himself as socially liberal. What's Republican about that? He's a great guy, but I wouldn't want him on the state school board.

I am a Kansas resident and after reading about him on-line, I am in agreement with you. He fills the description of a RINO (Republican in name only).
