Welch: CCH tax rebates on hold in wake of Cook County lawsuit
Country Club Hills Mayor Dwight Welch on Monday denied a claim by the Cook County state's attorney's office that property tax rebates are being issued to residents even though the city is being sued by the county for a $6.6 million debt.

We need to rid the city of this disfunctional government unit. This is worst than the Chicago council wars that lead to the death of then Mayor Washington. There is total incompetence and self loathing with the council; a bunch of wannabe political studs
