Wife of Collier deputy accused of embezzling more than $100,000 from Naples business
Carol Peabody, 50, turned herself in to deputies on Thursday on charges of grand theft totaling more than $100,000 and operating a scheme to defraud for over $50,000. Both counts are first-degree felonies and carry a maximum 30 years in prison.

Forged checks should have been noticed within a month or two. Perhaps the lady is innocent.
In any event, a classic moral of this story is --- Small sins lead to larger sins.

ok, mannie... enough of your "fast food approach" at investigating... leave it to the professionals... they are trained to do so.... and you are not..

I am commenting, not investigating. The case will be solved, and somebody will probably go to prison.
