An aparent deplorable situation where an animal was left to rot was recently discovered on the property of a Colbert county Animal Control officer. the carcas of a dead horse was left to rot to the exposed rib cage among other obviously thin siezed horses. i was under the impression that animal Control was to properly care for and to tend to the medical needs of animals.it seems that this not the case. was this animal left to suffer and die alone, without medical attention? wouldn't have a humane euthanization have spared this animal the long, fearful, agonizingly slow death that only can be imagined, that this once dignified animal must have suffered? what medical attention is given to the other siezed animals? i can only imagine. this sort of neglect by a common citizen would be concidered criminal and treated as such in the courts. it will be interesting to see if "professional courtesy" will be extended to the offending officer with no more than a stern scowl, slap on the wrist or back, and a there there now. if any ntype of animal has ever given you the slighest comfort or gentle nudge for attention, this abominable situation commands your attention to see if it is given the proper attention and severe punishment it rightly deserves! otherwise,we all become part of the neglect.

I don't think i would believe the story about the officer and abuse he was being accsured of this because someone wanted his job. He is real good with animals and he would never abuse one he has horses of his own and animals too and you will never see his like that. He is a good officer. thanks

Not if it's the same man with your last name. That man should never hold a position of authority as long as he lives, even "dog catcher" or "dog killer" as many residents in the community refer to him. I know several attorneys and officers around the area, and they all had the same things to say about him. Here are some words and phrases that came up most often: "wanna-be cop"(that's sad), "sadist", "sick", "pathetic", "power trip"(lol,he's a dog catcher), and the one that came up the most was "JOKE". |
