why would you want a sheriff that still does the same thing, its not 50/50 in coffee county, some people get better treated than others, we need a sheriff that will treat everone the same.

Let me begin by sayin I aint trash from the ridge. An I aint here to start rumors. I Grew up in a house out in the country. My dad was a truck driver that ran from Douglas GA to Calif. every week with a load of chickens from gold kist. I know Jerry Pope personaly, Jerry was workin with pope truckin at the time. I can remember my dad comin home an Jerry would be the first to come over. I would see with my own eyes the exchange of money an a brown envelope. I often wondered what was in that brown envelope bein my dad wasn't employed with pope truckin.. I no now after my dad has spent 9 years in a federal prison what was in the brown envelope.. My dad went down hard an didn't turn Jerry in because he ain't a nark..... I am tellin this because people need to no what kind of sheriff we have right now...We need a change in Coffee Co. Jerry Pope should count his blessing that my dad didn't talk on him.. I wish he would have.{Drugs} is what my dad went down for. I can back all the above up with ?????????? U will never no!!!!!!!!! remember to vote Aug.5th Joe White #1

yeah lets get a sheriff that was working for the 2 most dishonest sheriff's Coffee County has ever had...As a matter of fact if we all can remember Rob Smith put White in office when he was kicked out...That should say plenty right there. If that does'nt do it then take a long look at the people that are pulling for White...Do the smart thing and vote for Jerry Pope.

What do u mean by look at the people pullin for White? Look at the pope supporters, I tell you what you must be stupid!!!!!!!! Chuck sims had to go into office as sheriff after Rob until the election there was a run off then an there is on now so get over it JERRY POPE is a ex drug dealin SOB.......... I got PROOF!!!!!!!!!!

Chuck Sims did not server as sheriff until a successor for Rob was chosen. It was his father Neil Sims who was the coroner. The vacancy fell upon the cornoer to fill until a special election could be held. Jerry won this election.

Please explain why you think that Jerry is a drug dealin SOB.

It was Neil Sims not Chuck Sims that was interum sheriff until Jerry was voted in. And if your proof is like your facts of previous events, it must not be much,.

Jerry Pope's life was an open book when he was VOTED in as sheriff. Everyone who grew up in Douglas, me being one, knows Jerry and a lot of his friends and know what they ALL did when they were young. Everyone changes when you get older. One thing about it, he hasn't forgot his friends even if he has to lock them up and he has made a great sheriff. Friends don't let friends drive drunk. Everyone is just mad because they can't get away with 17-23 DUI's anymore just because they know the sheriff. Joe's a very good man, I also grew up with him, but I remember who took him from the city police to the sheriff's office. Enough said.

You talk alot of junk . Thats why your ass is at the G.B.I's office now, being questioned about cheating with these votes with jerry pope for money. Jerry Pope took 90 inmates out of the jail and took them to vote for him which is not aloud, and the mayor out of broxton turned in 86 absentees that were blank with no names but, with votes for pope. Illegal is the only way pope is still in there. The same way with the Chief Magistrate Annemarie Osteen. Money being payed for votes. Coffe County is a crooked county and always will be as long as these crooked people are in office. Coffee County has a drug dealer for a sheriff and a Prostitute for chief Magistrate. AND, Those are known FACTS!

Coffee County aint never gonna clean up. If anyone ever did get a fair run and got in The same thing that happened to carlton would happen to them . They would get murdered. Because they aint gonna have a honest man in office. CRooked Coffee County Sucks!
