i want to tell everyone what happen with some of the kids today at coffee middle school 7th grade. the 7th grade principal mr. james sirmans wouldn't let about 25 to 30 kids have lunch today and made them eat peanut butter and jelly sandwich just because they wouldn't do their home work, it was said that they sent notes to the parents about their child not doing their work and had no respond so he took their lunch away to punish them.there was this one little girl told them she couldn't eat that so she had no lunch today and she will not have any tommorrow because he is doing it tomorrow.is that the way a child should be punish for not doing their home work.you know that child might not have any food at home ,so that will be two days.my child said the nice lunch ladys that cook had nothing to do with this, some of the ladys felt really bad for them.so now when you send your kids to school you might better send them a sack lunch because you don't know if their going to be able to eat

This should not be allowed. Sirmans should be releived of his job for this.

Mr.Sirman needs to worry more about the kids that cause trouble in the school then worring about homework that is the parents jobs to worry about. If Mr.Sirman paid more attention to what he is there to do might be a little less problems in C.M.S. Yes I do agree Mr.Sirman needs to be releived of his job and maybe put him in the jail system where he can punish the real bad people.

Did this happen to YOUR child? And are you sure that it is because they didn't do their homework? Maybe it was because their lunch bill had not been paid?

Not it didn't happen to my child but I know for a fact that it did happen.I don't think it was right because some went hungery because they didn't like peanutbutter and jelly

I think that they should maybe think more about doing their home work. Maybe its time for a parent/teacher conferance, that is if they can get them to come in, for a conferance. Maybe that is something that they should look into. I wounder how long they haven't done their home work? Its important to get the parents involved, if you can.
