DORIS SPILLERS WORRELL OF DOUGLAS GA WAS VIOLENTLY MURDERED ON SEPT 20 2006 WHILE WORKING AT THEIR FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS, JON'S SPORTS PARK. TWO MEN WERE ARRESTED RECENTLY AND CHARGED WITH "CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT MURDER". THEY WERE HELD WITHOUT BOND AT THE REQUEST OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY IN CHARGE OF THE CASE. THESE SAME TWO MEN WERE RECENTLY RELEASED ON BOND, WITHOUT A FORMAL HEARING, AT THE REQUEST OF THE DA'S OFFICE. THE ONLY WITNESS PRESENT AT THE SCENE WAS AN ILLEGAL ALIEN, WHO WAS DEPORTED BY ICE AND IS NOW BACK IN HER NATIVE COUNTRY, VENEZUELA. SHE LEFT WITHOUT EVER MAKING A STATEMENT TO ANY LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY. WHERE IS THE JUSTICE AMERICA IS KNOWN FOR?
THE STATE OF GA ISSUED THE ONLY REWARD OFFERED, IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000.

the only thing they can do in coffee county is find a old dui ticket, or an undisclosed amount of cash..it cost money to investigate a murder; it dosen't generate "funds" didn't yall know that!!

i agree with you coffee county can't fine a nothing. when it comes to people with money in the town. everything got quite around about Doris murder but it is election time(so what does that tell you). i also heard that the Sheriff used to work for the worrells. they was released on a $10,000 bond and the one is working back at jon's sport park. why would they let him come back to work there after the murder. also i have heard the name bobby who is that

Thanks for your comment. I was beginning to think no one was reading this. Sheriff Pope used to work for D. Worrell? That's news I haven't heard before. I just heard about one of the guys who is out on bond, back working at Jon's Sports Park. Actually, I think I saw him the other day when I went to the Sports Park. He was sitting right up front with the young lady who was working the door. Is that him? What a lot of nerve, to let this guy just go back to work there and try to keep it quiet. I don't know who Bobby is, that's the first time I have heard that name. Please keep me updated.

I was shocked to see that one of the guys arrested for conspiracy of murder is back working at the JSP. Who is responsible for hiring him back?

Ok to keep it simple the man who was hired back at JSP was rehired because everyone there has no doubt that he is innocent. the reason the ttwo men were released was because there was no evidence to hold them. They were just grabbing at straws when they arrested them

Why would a family member of one of those 2 men tell the arresting officers that day, "You better get Jon Worrell, too, if you're taking him to jail"? We know how birds of a feather flock together.

Ben, she wasn't deported because she refused to talk. She was deported because she was an illegal immigrant/alien. She had NO RIGHT to be in the US. Doris was trying to help her get legal status here so she could stay in the US. She cannot enter this country for another ten years, but never would be too soon. How could the Court, State of GA, Coffee County, Douglas, GBI, the DA's Office, and all the Law Enforcement personnel involved, let that happen? She should never have been allowed to leave until she accounted for her actions the day Doris was murdered. She was the only witness, in the same place, at the same time that Doris was murdered.

Douglas Law Department has one of the sorriest investigating team there is.One of there problem is,they don't know how 2 gather up the proper Forensic.They tramper all over evidence,and do not look at the crime scene very careful.Another thing that bugs me is that they are 2 lazy 2 do some hard foot work on solving a crimes;they rather go on, listing 2 hear say,that be all wrong and throws the whole investigation off.I would hate 2 get killed in Douglas Ga.Cause if no wittiness didn't see it,it wouldn't never be solved....Sorry,but I had 2 tell it like it is...the TRUTH.

Jon Worrell killed her! End of it! Why they don't go a get his ass is beyond me. Why would he donate her wedding dress to the salvation army along with the pearl jewelry set that he gave to her on their wedding day. Obviously it had no meaning!
