I am very sorry, about your loss. I also lived for a short time in this disgusting Coffee County, I moved out and now, I do not want to remember the time I lived in there. But reading your post I have some impulse to let you and others,know that what you have just written in there is 100% the truth. I heard some many cases of crime and none of them were solved and still pending for investigation what a Joke!!!!
Everybody in this little town knows everybody and they know what is going on, but most of them they are afraid to make a comment. I am also sorry for Doris' family.

OMG... I don't know what to say i loved Ms. Worrell She used to work with the school system and I knew her from Eastside Elementary in Douglas. I grew up there and loved the town everyone knew everyone well almost anyway.. The thing thats bothering me was I knew Paola to briefly tho when she first came there and she was kinda preppy and all I never knew that she was the "girlfriend" of Jon.What the jell was she thinking? Another thing what is jons dad doing he is supposed to be a very religious and influential man in Coffee Co is he helping? Also can yall fill me in on the case I want to make sure im getting the right facts about the right people. To make sure im talking about the same paola girl does anyone know her age???

I was 15 and raped by Jon he was suppose to take me home from work one night and instead he took me to his house and raped me then put me in a hotel and said that if I told anyone then me and my family would be in a world of shit! WORD 4 WORD! He paid a girl to take me to FL where I tried to plead and thank the Lord we got pulled over and there was a search for me and my where abouts. Needless to say I looked like the victim cause upon arrival to the SO there was Jon and his dad already there and Evans who was the Sheriff at the time was paid big to keep their side. I was told that I needed to go get a rape test but upon arrival to the hospital and the obvious marks on my wrists where he tied me up they stated there was no need to do the test according to the sheriff. I was sent home. I knew this would happen soon nobody wanted to hear my story nobody wanted to listen and of course that sob is scotch free of a crime that I know he committed he is a vindictive man. Very powerful with Coffee County for some unknown reason. I pray that justice will be justified for the peace of Dorris...

How horrible for you to go through that! I knew that low-life was a bastard by birth! You know you can bring charges against him now, even though many years have passed. I did send her an email and I thank you. I just found these postings and I heard of what had happened a long time ago. It's sad that nobody listened to me before on what kind of sicko this man was and what lenghts he would go through to attack young girls or what extremes he would endure. Also please people be aware of his partner in crime during this time was Damon Worrell he neither never got charged. Both men were saved by a few dollars and a crooked department.

Victim ~ What a horrible thing to happen to a young 15 year old girl. My heart goes out to you because this is a thing that changes your life forever. To prey upon young girls is a sick thing for a "man" to do. The man is a psychopath, and dangerous to all women. Perhaps he will make a "mistake" in Costa Rica ~ will Daddy's money buy him out of it if he does? Time will tell. He will screw up again, believe me.

Did they ever show anything about this case on dateline. Sometimes i wonder if because we are a small town people get away with murder. which is very sad because ms.doris was a very sweet women and my prayers are for her children that the truth will come out.
