No offense to the GBI, you guys have been and are doing a great job. I think it would be a mistake for the DA to issue warrants unless GBI has enough evidence to get a conviction. But, I think it's time for the FBI to come on down and help the GBI and LE out. It never hurts to have a fresh set of eyes and brains looking at the evidence. You never know, someone who hasn't looked at the case day in and day out may be able to catch something in the evidence or make an important connection.

It is kind of like proof reading. I tend to overlook my typos because my brain already knows what should be there and it tricks my eyes into overlooking the errors. That is why I always ask someone to proofread important materials because they catch the errors. They haven't looked at the papers a thousand times.

Hmmm, the votes are piling up for FBI to take over. Too late, I'm afraid, for FBI to step in. IMHO, Jon has fled the country.

But we do have extradition treaties with many countries...hopefully we do with Costa Rica.

I worked at the local country club where the worrell's used to attend Sunday lunch. And NO he hasn't fled...he lives in Ferndina Beach....and still comes back to visit his local country club from time to time with the kids.

He let her down in the worst way while she was alive and he continued to let her down now that she is gone. His family let her down too, but he was her husband. He should have honored her memory. Oh please don't say that, FODS. We cannot give up hope that this murder will be solved. We cannot accept the "tuck tail and run" action by J W. Just because the bird flew the coop doesn't mean the long arm of the law can't get him back here to face trial. He's a coward and a real scuzzbucket and I would hate to think that he will go free. I wonder if he will ever have the nerve to come back to the US? Those folks who have to live their lives and force their children to live their lives on the run are doomed to a life of misery. I hope they do catch him. I was just surfing one day and came across this site. I became enthralled with it. Have read every post on this site, and anything I come across about it. It just seems if they were going to do anything, it would have been done. Although there has been older cases solved. But with moneyed people involved, "Money talks, Bull$$$t walks!" and as a sister to a man killed by a Police Officer, whom was sitting on the sofa, while talking to his 81 year old mother, used to say, "There is no Justice, It *just*is*." I do pray this gets solved. Don't give up!

Just in case anyone decides to post on this thread that FBI cannot bring a fugitive to justice if they are on foreign soil, I wanted to make a post (see the other thread pretaining to this case if you wonder why I'm making this post).

And look. Murder for hire is one of the things they investigate, that is if this is a murder for hire. They also step in when asked by GBI or local law enforcement for help in voilent crimes.

If a fugitive or suspect flees the country they work in conjunction with the US marshalls to bring said person/person back to the US and back to justice.

Just an FYI for those who are curious.

Now more than ever, the FBI need to step in and help with this case. I hold out hope that they will and Doris's murderer and those who knew anything about it will be brought to justice.

Our law enforcement in Coffee County needs a lot of changes and Yes, the FBI do need to get involved!! I loved Doris dearly!!! and I pray that justice is served!! But I DON'T HAVE ANY CONFIDENCE IN OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT!! AT ALL!!!
I know about our law officials first hand!! My sister was killed by her husband! She was shot in the back of her head- exiting out of her cheek!! He stated that he was holding the gun and triped and fell!! When he fell the gun hit the floor and went off!!! IMPOSIBLE!!!!
He was found "NOT GUILTY"!!! May God have mercy on his soul!!! I have had 2 of the juror's approach me in the streets, tell me that they can't sleep at night!!!!! They are convenced that the jury was told what to vote for. She said that they would not even talk or look at anyone in the deliberations....... They said that there was absoblutely something wrong with this case!!!
The local law enforcement tried to hide this case from the District Attorney- Rick Curry, from this murder. Rick told me that they (law enforcement) didn't contact him, he heard about it through a tip that he got!!!
Coffee County is well known for! It is who you know or are! and Money talks and bullshit walks.....

We pay taxes just like they do!!! We deserve a fair treatment!!! not our name or our money!!!!
