everything that has happened feels like a horrible nightmare you cant wake up from. I am so sick and tired of people just knowing him as the fatal shooting victim, a bartow county man dead. His name was Justin Kennedy and he was 33years old he had a son, family and friends that were expecting him to come home that night. I wonder when the officer pulled his gun did he think that when he shot to kill that he would be tearing a whole family apart. That every person that knew justin would spend there days grieving and missing him with all there hearts, but im sure it wasnt. As an officer to protect and serve he just made sure his family had him home that night!

I grew up with Jusin, but I too am a police officer. DO NOT EVEN THINK YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE TO WALK IN OUR SHOES AND DO WHAT WE DO ON A DAILY BASIS UNLESS YOU ARE A POLICE OFFICER!!!! I liked Justin alot, but he made a bad choice that night. He wasn't a bad person but he did a bad thing and unfortunately THAT is what got him killed. Our job is to serve and protect the public. That means we might have to shoot and kill someone if they attempt to pull a gun on us!!!! Do not be mad at the officer, he did his job.
what a joke

Cops are nowadays a joke. Nothing more then hyper caffine kicked gun killers. A cop is nothing more then a name tagged gun killer. They flaunt their bullyness and treat citizens as if we are in a 3rd world country. Martial law is coming and we, the true citizens better be prepared for it. Police are government controlled mind followers and they will kill you because they can do it legally. They hide behind uniforms and politics. They are not your friend. Not all cops are killers but guilt by association is the rule here.
They will defend each other to the end. They will appear in mobster fashion and the last thing on their mind is saving a life. They are gonna save their own a$$ first. You are a second class citizen. You are the low life scum and they could care less if you are taken out in a body bag.
Main point i am trying to make is, do not do anything in your life that will require law enforcement to be envolved. They are gun toting killers and will not think twice about using brutal force, as in this case.

If you want a real american hero who truly cares about you and saving your life....
hug a fireman.

I am sorry for your loss but most of all I am glad the officer is okay. If this person was dumb enough to pull a gun on an officer he got exactly what he barganed for. God bless the officer.
