I read that CMH-Regional Care are looking at a partnership or alliance with another major medical group in the region.
It may help raise the standards of medical care for Clinton County patients altough there would be more commuting involved with less medical services in Wilmington.
On a business standpoint it would be good news for Regional Care not quite making it with the absorption of CMH. A partnership with a very large structure would raise the economic potential possibly.
The physician trainee program would close or would be taken over by a different and more efficient and skilled team, and be replaced by a primary care clinic led by the physicians in place only. This should generate more patient turnover.
Not quite sure this would be a beneficial move for CMH employees though?
