It is true that Daves soon to be ex, would not let him stay inside the house, but this is only partly true. Dave was permitted to stay inside when he was sober. He was in the house earlier and left on his own. Wether it was because he was not permitted to stay or because he didnt want to be there (which often was the case) we can only assume. Dave like everyone else had problems so no one has right to judge the situation. Yes dave would do anything he could for anyone even when it meant he did without and he was a good man. Despite the cause of the accident it was tragic to say the least. Its still sureal for all those involved.
Unfortunalty there are circumstances leading to this event that most people, especially outsiders, are not aware of. Fact is Dave is gone and everyone needs to remember the good man he was, anything else contributing to his death is irrevelant now. Personally, knowing he at last is at peace helps me through this.
The family and his friends are going through a lot because of his death, especially his 11 year old daughter, and 15 and 18 year old sons who witnessed the accident and could do nothing to try to save their father. These are the ones that should be of concern now.. not the how who or why because only we, the family know these answers.

You will be missed dave, more than youd ever have guessed. maybe just maybe if you would have known this before, you would still be alive today.
