It is true there were some bad choices made during the term as Sheriff, but those are the kind which are correctable. lessons learned essentially. I would much rather have a Sheriff who will look another man in the eye and let them know exactly where he is coming from. One who's ambition is to be the Sheriff, and not use the Office of the Sheriff as a political stepping stone. Clayton County needs someone who wants to bring the fight to criminals, not someone who will quietly plot against there own. Someone who's motive is not to try to sleep with every attractive female in the office. Kimbrough is not what people think. I would say bring back Victor, I truely believe he has learned from his mistakes.
Go for it Victor

I for one would vote Victor Hill back in office. He did just what he was supposed to do when he was sheriff. He turned things around. His priority wasn't who he could please, it was to make the streets of Clay. Co. safe again. I say go for it again Victor Hill!!! You made a difference back then and will make the difference again.
Want best for Clayton

I have to agree with help clayton county! Sheriff Hill will again be a valuable leader of the Law Enforcement Community in Clayton County. All of the go along to get along leaders have only sat and witnessed the county turn into a cesspool for crime! We need Sheriff Hill back in office!!!!!!!!!

...Fear is a Cop's worse enemy and our Clayton County Cops are very well known for being afraid.

...My Totally Worthless Dysfunctional State Representative (She is a Clayton County Cop) Sez :

Quote :Rep. Yasmin Neal, a Jonesboro Democrat and a Clayton County detective and police officer, noted that the bill might have an unintended consequence.

“When a person who is here illegally is approached by an officer now, the officer must fear that the person will be fighting for his freedom,” Neal said in a news release.“That is a dangerous situation for any officer.”

...I want to know why The Clayton County Police Force has to be afraid of, when it's one of the safest jobs in the county ?

....From April 28, 1959 to February 28, 2007, only three officers have lost their lives and it was caused by vehicle accidents.

....Compare this to the deaths of innocent citizens in our county.

This is not the first time that our legislators voted no to appeal to the wishes of The Clayton County Police Force.

The Sheriff's Office does not fight crime in Clayton, the police department does! CCSO houses inmates and serves warrants; wake up people!

A lot of the racist blacks in Clayton County love Victor Hill because he fired all those white deputies but the smarter educated blacks realize he is insane and nothing more than a thug in a suit.

You know I have been looking for a reason to move out of Clayton County. If Hill gets re-elected it will be the motivation I need.

....You are right; We have a Police Department to enforce crime in this county, or do we ?
