Eldrin Bell, once caught speeding at more than 100 MPH through Clayton County is calling for red light cameras to raise funds. For one thing, using traffic citations specifically to raise funds is illegal. With Bell's history of disregard for the law this proposal is no surprise.

With MARTA's record of mismanagement and waste and price hikes it's not surprising that their bus service is unaffordable.
With Clayton County's history of budget mismanagement and fraud and squandering of tax dollars it's a double whammy for citizens of Clayton County.
Now, how will all of Clayton County's street hookers get to work?

Typical news from Clayton Co, constant failure is occuring happenening because of the present leaders and demographics of the county. What do should you expect from a county that had its school system declared non accredited? A county that doesn't care about its children by providing them with school that are not accredited shows its true character to the world, and its lack of preparation for their future.

I think this is horrible! How are people going to get back and forth to work? I can't believe it passed 4:1 at that! The budget must have been really suffering for them to cut such a fundamental part of the county. RIP C-Tran.

Doesnt suprise me at all. I moved out of this county 5 months ago,and I havent looked back yet. Clayton county seems to only care about the politics and nothing else. The people are doomed, is there any hope for a better future?

You act surprised. Those people who make the votes bring in $70k+ annually. Do you seriously think they care about people that cannot afford a Jaguar, BMW and boat?

YES....YES...YES...YES...YES.. ...!!!!

It's about time.......

How are people supposed to get back and fourth to work? Thats their problem. I'm tired to my tax money paying for CTRAN the Ghetto transport of Clayton County.

Those of us left with good jobs and good educations never wanted to see the crack pipe transports in our neighborhoods anyway.

Take the last bus back to Atlanta where MARTA will never die.....

I make much more money than that. But that is an honorable profession even at the ridiculous low salary they are paid.

Clayton County should adopt the example of Zimbabwe and confiscate the private property of any whites who are dumb enough to not have evacuated that 3rd world politcal entity by now.

Whatever happened to that white guy who got spit upon by that frothing at the mouth hysterical black female?

I understand how some people feel about our bus line, however there are good people who pay taxes and dont rob/steal who use that busline to get to work everyday. There are law abiding citizens that are seniors who work and use that busline. This is all part of the constant failures and mismanagement of finances of people "WE" voted into office. But on the other hand, its a known fact that buslines bring crime to areas, so maybe the crime will leave and clayton can be who it used to be a nice place to live. I'm very sad!

And please don't send these Section-8 miscreants back to Atlanta!

Send them to MS, they know how to deal with them over there.

Question......

I was in Jonesboro this past weekend. Noticed what looked like some kind of new bus stop/parking lot that has just been built on 19/41 next to Long John Silvers/Arbys. Is this connected to CTRAN? or just a park and ride located? Anyone.......

Wow Bill you are very very blessed. I'm sure you have a nice big house, you are not elderly and not handicapped trying to get to work in the only vehicle you are "able" to ride in to get to work. I'm sure you live in the suburbs in a nice big warm house and dont have to live off your small retirement check which can only afford an apt in this area. I'm sure everyone you work with likes you because you are so honorable and compassionate about people less fortunate than you. Yes teachers get paid a low salary and they know this when they go to teach, but the difference with them which is so honorable is that they "want" to teach, they want to contribute to "even just one" child's welfare and education, despite the pay. You enjoy your vast amount of money and stay blessed!!!!!

You must lay blame on the City of Atlanta who decided to tear down the projects!

Next destination......CLAYTON COUNTY!

When you allow a bunch of semi-illiterate people to come in, this is what you get.

Non paying leeches.

Sintard,

As a matterof fact I am over 50, and yes I am handicaped from fighting for my country when called. House is about average for the area and yep, I get a small pension from the Military every month. Yes folks that I work with like me because I don't whine and complain and I hold up my end of the load on a daily basis.

No, I'm not an emotional cripple that needs to suck the governments welfare tit to feel loved or wanted. I don't spend money on drugs, excess liquer, or da ho's. I spent my entire adult like supporting both my wife and children. I paid for my own education with my own hard earned money, and never begged the government to provide my transportation.

Am I different than that current pool of Clayton County residents.... You Bet, and I don't apoligise for being so.

Before the Blacks came into Clayton County, the Whites was too busy fighting among themselves. That is the reason they didn't organize anything except for Football & Baseball, where they still fought among themselves. And the Whites are fighting everyday. If you can find the "Secret" Easter Egg on page 2.

Daily Horoscope for December 14

Leo

Stand by for fundamental changes in a close relationship today. Something that has been hidden or secret until now comes to the surface, forcing you to acknowledge it. For instance, if you fancy someone but haven't done anything about it, the atmosphere between you now could become so torrid that you're finally overtaken by passion.
