Prospect Park - Alpharetta's Mud Pit of Shame

In August of last year, Appen Newspapers promised us that Prospect Park had found local financing and would be completed soon.

"Jim Harris" is actually a local lunatic named Jeff Berry. He was a nutjob that went after a candidate for Council in the last elections that got a DUI.
I know its him because he hates John Monson for some reason (I believe he supported the candidate with the DUI...but then, so did all the others except one) and he always talks trash about the local paper (Appen Press)...which is the web site that hosts this blog.
This guy is a total nut and posts under a lot of fake names. I heard he was brought up on state ethics charges. This story is entertaining, but I don't think everyone is connected in a conspiracy to screw Alpharetta.

Appen does not own Topix. The poster called 'alpha blue' is using another person's handle from appen's blog in an anonymous effort to smear someone else. Pretty pathetic, 'alpha blue' may want to get himself a good lawyer.

JB is a local hero in Alpharetta. "Blue" is obviously one of the dumbasses who supported Debbie Gibson and tried to file a complaint against him. It was laughed at and dismissed. Dee got it right, "Blue" better get a lawyer. JB seems to win against the old Alpharetta mafia every time.

Looks like he's got a new one. This one is funny as hell! He's poking fun at the gigantic city hall they want to build for 25 million dollars. He calls it 'Chateau Alpharetta'- it's HILARIOUS. You gotta love this!

What is the status? Still waiting to see something going on over there. The website says it will open in May 2010. Any unbiased information would be appreciated.
