I know thats right...... I sat in the Jury Pool all week a couple of weeks ago at the Clayton County (CC) Courthouse. What a drag. There sure are alot of DUI Trials in CC. Atleast I got $125.00 back of my tax money.....

sounds like a cop trying to justify another cop's misconduct. No cop's don't have esp, but they have one of the most comprehensive databases of information on people in the form of the DMV. like someone said before, all he needed was a license number, and also cops can coordinate with each other to curtail these chases quickly without having to speed excessively. This is 2009, not 1979 in Hazard County on the Dukes of Hazard. There's no place for Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane like driving in today's society, with the technology available
And, just exactly HOW are these 2009 era cops supposed to KNOW the guy isn't on a stolen bike?

Or, on his own with stolen tags?

Here's a quarter.... go buy yourself a clue!

Police have no obligation to fetch and return private property to people.
Police are obligated to arrest violators of the state and seize state's evidence to prove the violation of the state. And when the police are done, they will call the owner of the property so that they may claim it, so the owner may take his own civil action against the person who damaged their motorcycle.
But, to you, the typically borish layperson, when the police put your busted up motorcycle in the impound storage and call you to get it off their hands, it may appear like they retrieved your property to you.
Wrong again, douche bag. The cops do have a DUTY to find and return stolen property to the original owners. Nice try though. Maybe you should take and entry level civics class before you try to act like you know what you're talking about here.

High speed chases should be illegal--and in some cities they are.'What if he's a terrorist on his way to blow up a plane?--what if he's on his way to kill his girlfriend'--yeah yeah, too bad he's not on his way to kick your dumb ass+s. That rider would have slowed down--but the chase led to public endangerment--and that all is the cop's fault. Take his plate number get him later--stolen bike? Let it go--it's not worth endangering life--not worth it. Here's another tidbit for all you thoughtful morons: what about the driver of the oncoming car? He might have been killed (many innocent people die in chases in the USA every year) and the trauma that driver suffered and may suffer all his/her life--that alone makes this high-speed chase an exercise in stupidity.

This cowboy bullsh+t needs to stop. There are many other ways of apprehending fleeing criminals.

Hey sim,

The next time one of thes sport bike idiots passes you at 100mph+ see if you can jot down his plate number. Especially the ones that are mounted to the inside of the fender or mounted on the side.

Also try it at night, which is the time most of these issues present themselves.

That would be a pretty enlightening experience for you im sure.

Bill

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Pisces

If you-know-who has been getting on your nerves recently, matters will soon come to a head and force you to take drastic action. As Mars turns tail in your sixth house, you might finally lose your rag with someone at work who's been testing your patience to the limit. Stand your ground if you feel you're being messed about in some way. Clear the air if needs be, but don't create a really nasty atmosphere by throwing an eye-popping tantrum. Take care of any infections.
