Washougal plan will slim E Street

Washougal leaders believe a 'road diet' and new traffic roundabout are the long-term fix for E Street, the city's accident-plagued main drag.

How will the roundabout effect the businesses located at 15th and E Streets?

As a local businessman and property owner, I dislike the new plan.
Turn lanes are great but traffic is tough as it is and to delete a free flowing lane is dumb and short sighted.
How about making 2 lanes in both directions and installing a center turn lane?
I lost a driveway in the proposed "better idea".
It is not better, just differant.
You don't take something without paying for it like driveways.
I am sure that if it was the mayors driveway, the outcome would be differant!
