Okay, have IQ's dropped that much?
Go into a courtroom and tell a judge to go F%$k himself and see if your 1st amendment rights kick in. In fact, how about everyone you come in contact with tells YOU the same or gives you the finger. Yeah, your just gonna smile and give it back, right? Just another case of stupidity, with intent.

Some day that idiot is going to flip someone the finger and end up getting a bullet in his head.
Or shoved up his ***. He's lucky he didn't get that kicked to. He provokes and his attorneys make $4000. What a shame

He does that to the wrong cop he might get Rodney Kinged.

I flipped off a cop this morning for thinking that the praxair truck backing into the loading dock was more important than the 15 minutes of my life wasted this morning. Copper had traffic stopped from about 830-9.

Have you read the first amendment...freedom of speech in this matter is in fact what people consider to be obscene. Its not slander, even if you apply the Miller Test to this act the mere act of flipping the bird is just that...its not speech. Its what contemporary society accepts or rejects as a standard to say its obscene. " Critics of obscenity law argue that defining what is obscene is paradoxical, arbitrary, and subjective. They state that lack of definition of obscenity in the statutes, coupled with the existence of hypothetical entities and standards as ultimate arbiters within the Miller Test (hypothetical "reasonable persons" and "contemporary community standards") proves that federal obscenity laws are in fact not defined, and thus unenforceable and legally dubious."

Unfortunately, you are probably right -- since we live in a gun happy irresponsible society that refuses to be realistic about firearms.
Tell us BuckeyeRon, what are we not realistic about when it come to firearms? That guns don't kill, people kill people? That the Second Ammendment is an individual right? That law abinding citizens are now carrying guns legally? What do we need to be realistic about?

We don't hear much from the libotards anymore about gun control. Are you one of the straglers still hanging onto it?

This also happens a lot in Franklin county/i.g-Columbus ohio,Not only is there a lot of nepotism in the sherriffs office here/There is also the issue of unsanitary conditions in the downtown and jackson pike jails-There is also suspicion in the african american community that a homicide took place there about ten years ago at the hands of one of sherriff karnes deputies and was immediately covered up by sherriff karnes".

I never miss a chance to flip the bird to Gahanna police doing "revenue enhancement" duty on I-270. If you're a GPD "Fleece Occifer" I'm the guy who starts blowing his horn hundreds of feet before I pass you. I want to get your attention because "This bird's for you!".

Catch me if you can!

Now this is an interesting story. First this guy provokes the response, then he gets one. And he's claiming the right to complain and and they give him that too. I can understand free speech and free expression, but doesn't free speech AND harrassment go both ways? He shouldn't have received a dime, but what do I know. And besides, whatever happened to simple common decency?

Sorry, but in my opinion, you are the type of person that has turned this country into the mess it is. It's all about YOUR rights regardless of who is offended. Guess what??? There's something to be said for respecting those in a position of authority. We expect our children to respect teachers and other adults and these same children should be taught to respect the police. That has gone out the window. You do have the right to express your opinion, but you still have to be prepared to suffer the consequences.
Too bad they (cops) can't keep records of who does this and when they call for assistance because someobody just broke into their home they can just flip them off and walk away.
If you give them the finger or not, when you call them they take their sweet ol' time showing up anyway. They're not worried about the public, they're worried about THEMSELVES and the people who can advance their careers (i.e. power, more money)

That's a nice little world you're living in, but I'm going to need you to come back to reality with the rest of us....
